We looked at famous landscape art which uses perspective.
We used the vanishing point to create 3D effects! Updated: Here is the link! Pandora was going down to her local shop for milk, when the store manager sneaked up to her with the last milk he had.
"I'm closing down the shop!" he exclaimed. Pandora's eyes started to produce water. "Wh...Why?" Pandora cried. He just shook his head and gave her a brown box. "Here, it will help you remember my shop." You could also see tears coming from his eyes. When she got home, she thought that there would be wonderful pictures of the shop in the summer, but when she opened the lid there was nothing, just a plain box. She wondered why he had gave her this. Then a thought cmae to mind, was it really what she thought it was? Last week, we actually gave out 3 class awards: Cailen and Curtis both achieved more than 20000 points on Mathletics, whilst Lara won the class design for Nick Sharratt's pants (see the previous post). Brilliant effort! In addition, most of the class got their first Bronze certificate in Mathletics! Well done - keep practising everyone! After serious internet problems this week, we are up and running again. On Tuesday we celebrated World Book Day with Nick Sharratt coming in to talk about, amongst other things, pants and socks! |
